An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Orkney’s Corporate Services directorate for a Corporate Business Officer to join our small team. The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Board, Governance Committees and other groups as required.

This appointment will ideally be on a full-time basis although applicants seeking part time hours are welcome to apply. We are open to negotiations, depending on what you have to offer. Our ability to offer flexibility makes NHS Orkney an attractive employer. We can and will work with you to meet your needs.

As the successful candidate you will have a recognised qualification equivalent to SVQ3 in business and administration, or have a range of previous administrative experience, including minute taking.

The post holder will be conversant with office procedures and systems and have excellent communication and negotiating skills. They must be able to handle and prioritise a diverse workload including matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times. Excellent organisational skills are essential.
