Due to an internal re-design within the Finance Team, we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst on a temporary basis. Your new role
As a Senior Business Analyst you will be working in the Children and Young People Directorate for a minimum of 3 months. You will be required to monitor the residual accounts in the council for the impact of accruals and purchase and sales orders across the financial years. You will also be required to ensure that the final grant claims for 2017 / 18 are completed and ensuring that there is the correct closure of petty cash amounts relating to the previous services provision. You may also be required to investigate issues and help develop long term requirements for the financial processes.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you are fully CCAB qualified, any applications without this will not be considered. You will come from a technical accounting background and be adept with technical processes. A public sector background, preferably within a local authority, would be highly beneficial. Experience of using SAP would also be highly beneficial.
