This innovative high profile online retailer seeks an Accounts Assistant to join their busy Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will assist in maintaining the financial records of the business using Sage Accounts.

Duties will include:

  • Record day to day financial transactions in finance system
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
  • Posting supplier invoices
  • Creation of customer invoices
  • Perform supplier reconciliations
  • Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
  • Regular communications with suppliers

The successful candidate will have the following background:

  • Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and Sage Accounts software
  • Strong communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in retail desirable
