The Accounts Assistant role will be a busy and varied role for an established and expanding business based in Inverness.

Description
The successful candidate with oversea the financial control and management of a portfolio of clients. Keys aspects of the role include:

Ensure reliable and timely monthly reporting of Actuals and Forecasts for the portfolio of Accounts

Provide the Management with valuable analysis on variances and risk
-
Raise financial and commercial awareness throughout the portfolio of accounts through training and best practice
-
Preparation and active attendance at the monthly Management review meetings
-
Reporting and management of a portfolio including management of debt
-
Production of the 3 year plan and annual budgets for the portfolio of accounts
Profile
The successful candidate will ideally posses the following skills/qualities:
- Qualified Accountant
- Expert proficiency in spoken and written English
- Project accounting experience
- Strong communication and influencing skills, must be credible with senior management
- Able to prioritise and organise own work to deliver to agreed deadlines
- Experience of preparation of all aspects of financial information
- Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of Oracle/Business Objects
- Must be enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and willing to travel when required
