Hesketh James Accountancy have the pleasure of working with a rapidly expanding client based in the heart of the city that due to their continued success are now looking for a payroller to join the team.
Working in a team of 8 and reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for the full end to end process - accurately processing to tight deadlines, completing of all PAYE registrations, updating of tax codes, administering SSP, SMP, SPP and all other statutory payments through to auto enrolment. The role will offer variety along with continued support and development so a candidate who is in the early stages of their payroll career will definitely be considered, for candidates who are looking for the "next step" into a supervisory or management position there is a clear management training programme that can also be offered.
To be successful in this role you will be a motivated and proactive candidate that enjoys working in a high energy environment, you will ideally have around 1-2 years’ experience in a payroll capacity and be confident running a small payroll.
