Credit Controller

Up to £23,000 DOE + bonus

We are looking for a highly experienced Credit Controller for a permanent role with our client in Hamilton who are looking to fulfil this position immediately with someone who will become a key member of their team.

Applicants should have at least 5 years’ experience in a focussed Credit Control role (commercial and not domestic) and be an expert at telephone debt recovery and negotiating repayment terms and / or settlement options. You will be a confident, professional and well-spoken individual who is able to adapt to ever changing priorities and be able to use your own initiative to prioritise cases.

You will be an experience Credit Controller and Debt Recoverer but you will also receive in-house and ongoing training as part of your job function. Proven experience within the job role is the most critical aspect for applicants to have, however people who have worked in the construction industry or similar or with a business with a high turnover (perhaps around 7/8 million pounds plus) and / or have dealt with debtor values of around minimums of £7000 - £10,000 would be of particular interest for this position.

Applicants must also be experienced and competent in all aspects of MS Office, Excel in particular. The starting salary for the role is between £18,000 - £23,000 and due to the nature of the position you would also be able to earn around another £2000 - £3000 per year in line with your recovery and payment successes.
