Procurement Officer x 3 - Salary dependant on experience
3-6 months contract (potential to extend for upto 2 years)

Leeds City Council is one of the largest employers in West Yorkshire, with around 33,000 employees based over multiple sites. These roles are working within their large housing department where you will perform the role of a Procurement Officer

The role will include category management, formulating invitations to tenders, contract negotiation, monitoring performance in line with objectives, building relationships with budget-holders along with guidance and advice on all related procurement issues

For this role you will ideally have experience within Procurement however we would still be interested in speaking to individuals who have Buying, Merchandising, Contract management or Supply Chain experience as these types of roles have transferable skills.
We are also looking for
Excellent communication skills. The procurement department often finds itself at the crossroads between multiple stakeholders: suppliers, customers, management, sales, etc. ...
