Maintenance Engineer - Hydraulics
Maintenance Engineer required to work for a manufacturer and supplier of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components to the plant equipment and material handling industries. The candidate will be responsible for the service, repair and refurbishment of a range of hydraulic components based from the workshop in Coventry.
It is envisaged that the successful Maintenance Engineer will have a mechanical background and previous experience as a service or maintenance engineer in a related industry. You must be able to confidently use a variety of tools and work on your own initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for a field service engineer or mechanic who is looking to progress their career within a new static role.
Maintenance Engineer - Hydraulics Position Overview
Your role will be based from the workshop in Coventry, where you will strip down, assess, repair and test and range of hydraulic components such as rams, pumps, motors and gearboxes. You will also measure and size up hydraulic seal kits in metric and imperial, depending on application. MIG and TIG welding experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as the company are willing to invest and train the successful candidate in welding and hydraulics courses.

- Previous mechanical maintenance experience, ideally with hydraulics also
- Excellent fault finding skills
- Able to work independently on own initiative
- MIG & TIG welding desirable but not essential
- Based within a commutable distance of Coventry
- Full (clean) UK driving license
Maintenance Engineer - Hydraulics Position Remuneration
- £24,000 - £28,000 + overtime
- 20 days' holiday + bank holidays
- 40 hour working week
