Supported Housing Project Manager
Project Manager needed for a supported housing organisation in Bristol for a 9 month contract
Your new company
You will be working for a local supported housing provider.You will be joining an organisation who puts their tenants at the forefront of the service providing a local support services to a variety of clients from homeless, mental health, domestic violence and substance misuse.
Your new role
You will be working as a project manager on a full time, 9 month contract. As a project manager you will be working within a supported housing project supporting service users who have a background in mental health. As a project manager you will take direct responsibility for the leadership, operational and performance management of the project. You will be managing a 12 bed supported housing project working with complex needs. As a project manager you will be managing a team of support workers and contractors, providing inspirational and motivational leadership and management to maximise team engagement and commitment to organisational goals. You will champion service user empowerment and involvement by ensuring service are accessible. As a project manager you will encourage support worker to work in strength-based and solution-focused ways and gather service users feedback and involvement to improve services. You will be working on a Monday - Friday basis but will also need to be flexible to cover limited weekends and evenings.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful project manager you will need strong working knowledge in supported housing and particularly mental health support. You will need strong leadership skills and be able to manage in a person-centred way. To be a successful project manager you will also need to have excellent communication skills.
