  • Transcribing audio digital dictation of correspondence, attendance notes, emails and legal documentation;
  • Communicating with clients;

  • Arranging meetings and lunches;

  • Filing, opening and closing files;

  • Receiving, making and following up telephone calls; and

  • General administration tasks.

The appropriate candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous legal secretarial experience preferred but would consider proven experience in other professional fields;
  • Professional telephone manner, coupled with excellent communication skills, the ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels with tact;

  • Committed to maintaining high standards of client care;

  • Excellent written English, grammar and punctuation;

  • Accurate audio typing skills;

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel;

  • Confidentiality and absolute discretion;

  • Multi-task in a busy environment;

  • Reliable and dependable;

  • Positive attitude;

  • Patient; and

  • Ability to use own initiative.

Our normal working hours are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary: £18K - £21K per annum
