Insight and Reporting Manager

As well as the recent merger our business is currently undergoing significant transformation as we shift from a broadly intermediated, product based offering to one that creates market leading, customer led propositions sold through multiple channels with a strong focus on mobile and digital. As a result the UK&E Insurance business is investing heavily in new technologies and seeking to leverage existing assets to create a market leading retail savings proposition to its advisers, employers and end customers in a safe and operationally effective way. At the heart of this is the outcome and experience we provide our customers. As an Insight and Reporting Manager, within our new Customer Office you’ll play a pivotal role to ultimately help, inspire, organise and drive our business to deliver consistently great outcomes for our customers and more importantly you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the voice of the customer is heard and actioned all the way up to Board level.

The primary purpose of this role will be to manage and oversee the Wealth Solutions customer feedback and panel solutions as well as to define and execute our strategy in relation to customer engagement. Working closely with our Customer Architects and Data Science Managers you’ll also be involved in developing and executing the analytics strategy to obtain and interrogate disparate elements of customer data, and intuitively package these in an intuitive way to a variety of stakeholders with recommendations for action.

So key to success in this role will be your:

  • Strong understanding of how to leverage existing tools and methods to solve business problems
  • Ability to remove complexity from all facets of customer insight and from this produce a suite of recommendations
  • Experience of quantitative and qualitative data analysis as well as customer value
  • Passion to be the champion of customer centricity across the business
  • Experience of mobilising and delivering complex change whilst still meeting demanding targets against a rapidly changing backdrop.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and business discovery tools such as clik
  • Good knowledge of the FS regulatory and legislative frameworks as well as life and pensions propositions, markets and competitors

To meet the challenge of this new role you will need to be a strong stakeholder manager with sophisticated communication skills and have a strong appetite to develop and deliver robust governance in relation to how we develop and maintain our research, insight and analytics capabilities.
