MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to help shape the future of Diversey. As the successful candidate, you will be implementing and developing our Hygiene and Services proposition across the Food and Beverage industry, and will be responsible for maintaining Food Safety, Product Quality and the optimisation of costs for customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Your key activities will include working with customer experts to: implement new hygiene applications, deliver training and assist with troubleshooting, as well as providing support for new business start-ups and assisting in sales processes. Alongside these on-going activities, the sector specialist plays a critical role in preparing and executing 'Knowledge Based Services’. You will be responsible for leading these high-profile service projects, and will be provided with the appropriate support from both local and international colleagues within Diversey.
The typical market segments you will be active in are food processing, meat, fish and ready to eat (RTE) goods, which means you will have the opportunity to interact with a range of stakeholders and companies within the Food Industry.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Processing, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or a related discipline
- Strong technical skills, the drive and determination to deliver, and the ability embed new processes
The position requires frequent travel in the region and sometimes outside of the country. You are likely to spend around 80% of your time out of the office at customer sites.
