Commercial Analyst (Ad Tech/Programmatic) - London

£40 to £45k basic + bonus

My client, a global advertising technology company and pioneer of Search Intelligence are looking for a Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis of all search term and ad campaign data, including the production of bespoke trend, correlation and performance insights.

You will provide clear deliverables and build industry white papers and key business opportunity analysis that help each area of the business improve performance of their respective campaigns.

The role is technology focused and so requires an individual with technical ability but also understanding of working with data and real time bidding within the programmatic environment. An important part of the role will be to drive creation and scale of great value new customer insights.

The candidate must have a good foundation in display or search advertising, analytical, practical solution finder and importantly can visualize & present their work clearly to all levels of the business.

Key responsibilities

Analyze large amounts of transactional and behavioral data, using statistical modeling and pattern analysis techniques, to identify customers / prospects insights

Manage the delivery of client insight reports that articulate clear actionable outcomes

Work closely with the client strategy, publisher solutions, marketing and product teams

Participate in the planning and design of new reporting and analysis products for internal and external use

Transform data into stories through building presentation decks

Communicate research findings to technical and non-technical audiences internally and externally

Skills required:

Excellent knowledge of `big data` and audience segmentation

A good degree (2:1 or higher) in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent

Excellent communication skills: the candidate needs to be able to present results of an analysis to internal & external stakeholders

Good knowledge of statistical analysis

Exposure to research statistics and experiment design and analysis

Familiarity with SQL or programming experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel

Good teamwork skills
