POSITION: Education Sales Representative, Oracle UniversityREGION: UK, IE Key and Named Accounts DEPARTMENT: Oracle Cloud UniversityREPORTS TO: UK OCU Leader ORACLE CLOUD UNIVERSITY:Oracle Cloud University (OCU) is dedicated to training customers,partners and employees on Oracle's cloud products including all of SaaS,PaaS and IaaS. The team offers training via digital subscriptions forall SaaS cloud offerings and is now in the process of building out PaaSand IaaS subscriptions. These offerings feature over 4000 hours of Cloudrelated content built on a platform that offers knowledge checks, skillpaths, gamification and live analytics on learner progress. The team also offers cloud adoption and learning through our GuidedLearning solution. Oracle Guided Learning offers end users onlinelearning that is directly accessible from their Oracle Cloudapplication. Specific to their roles and responsibilities, GuidedLearning offers users step-by-step guidance to help them complete theirtasks. KEY OBJECTIVE: Your objective is to drive Cloud adoption for Oracle technologies in thePublic and Pharmaceutical Sector in the UK particularly around SaaS, butalso PaaS and IaaS by creating high value solutions to our customers.This includes, but is not limited to Cloud Learning subscriptions andGuided Learning solutions.Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven sales trackrecord in the IT sector in Consulting and Solution sales around Cloud.They have to give examples of communicating at a high level withcustomers both internally and externally. A focus will be on Oraclemajor existing accounts and developing Cloud accounts. Successfulcandidates will make an immediate impact through initiating keyrelationships with sales forces in other lines of business, with clientsand partners, which have a high probability of driving adoption andgenerating revenue. Previous consultative selling experience is a plusas would be an understanding of the IT education business particularlyin the context of Cloud.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Education & Experience - Preferably degree level and proven SalesExperience of 8+ years Self-Driven - Stamina and self-drive to work with high levelrelationships, third parties and complex solution and a determinedattitude to generate and closing business Sales Process Management - Proven sales experience and ability tomanage pipeline, forecast and achievement of sales targets, ability toaccelerate the sales process and a proven deal closure record High Level Relationship Building - Ability to initiate and sustainlong term, high level relationships with key government departments, butalso clients in the private sector Internal relationships - Experience in building internal relationshipacross lines of business to ensure OCU is attached to all major Cloud deals Consultative Selling - Prior successful consultative selling experience Negotiating and Closing - Proven skills in negotiating and closingcomplex solutions directly or with partners Communication - Flawless English combined with the experience andconfidence of communicating internationally and at a high level with executives Customer and Market Knowledge - Able to demonstrate insight toOracle's customer based in the Public Sector and the trends in IT in the UK Pricing and Funding Models - Ability to develop accurate quotes andproposals in complex software and training opportunities Contracting - Ability to work with legal to draft unique or nonstandard terms, applying the contractual requirements for doing businessin UK and internationally Presentation Skills - Ability to present the value of Oracle Cloud andOracle Cloud University and present complex solutions with confidence atan executive level MINIMUM ENTRY-LEVEL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEPreferably degree level.Proven Sales Experience of 8+ yearsCOMPETENCIESProfessional & Technical Depth and CredibilityBuilding and Maintaining RelationshipsInfluence & NegotiationAdapting to and Driving ChangeCommunicationSales LeadershipWorking with OthersApplying defined processesFlawless English Language Skills Verbally and in WritingLOCATION London or Reading, UKDetailed Description and Job Requirements:Sells Oracle*s training services directly or via partners to a largenumber of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory.Deals are not usually complex.Sell Oracle education and related services to prospective and existingcustomers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resourceallocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposalsencompassing all aspects of the Education sales offering. Participate inthe development, presentation and sales of an Education valueproposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close thesale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key sales influencers.Job duties are varied and need independent judgment. At least 5 yearsfield sales experience with focus on larger accounts including Educationor related sales experience. Highly developed selling, customerrelations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracleknowledge. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet withstakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, andinterpersonal skills. Presentation skills.
