Oracle Marketing Cloud: Enterprise Sales ExecutiveLOCATION: LondonThis is a hugely exciting time for Oracle Marketing Cloud as we continueour EMEA expansion.A Sales Executive at Oracle Marketing Cloud will lead and drive salesfor the highest value and most ground-breaking cloud marketing softwaresales in the UK, without exception. This person will be armed with themost compelling cloud marketing software suite and services in the market: Responsys & Push.IO - Cross-channel orchestration (email, social,SMS, Push, Display & Web) Eloqua - B2B marketing automation and lead management Blue Kai - Data Management Platyform (Both structured and unstructureddata, including online look-a-like data) SRM (Social Relationship Marketing - made up of 3 products (CollectiveIntellect, Involver & Vitrue) Maxymiser - e-commerce test & target and personalisation Compendium - content marketing We are looking for the best and most talented sales professionals in theUK who have experience of our market (or a closely related area) and theability to drive insight, challenge the status quo and show marketerswhat is possible. Oracle Marketing Cloud was built with the mission tochange the way that the world does marketing in the digital age and weneed an exceptional Sales Executive to help us increase our momentum further.Once in-post, the Sales Executive will have the primary responsibilityfor the creation and execution of territory sales plans that buildlong-term relationships within target accounts which in turn createspredictable revenue. To be successful, the Sales Executive must becomfortable in engaging with senior business leaders in rich andinformed discussions about business value. They must have enoughtechnical depth to be able to help prospects understand why we aredifferent from the competition and a high degree of tact to be able topush stakeholders outside of their comfort zones whilst building andmaintaining a strong relationship. For those that can do this, therewards are high!Within the marketing industry, you will build a reputation as amobiliser for Oracle Marketing Cloud. You will help marketers reformoutdated and campaign-centric practices and play a critical role indisrupting old-school mind-sets in order to educate the marketers of the future.RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve annual andquarterly targets and to expand the company's customer base in the UK. Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities within thedefined territory that will enable you to meet or exceed quota. Work with a multi-disciplinary team of colleagues to develop effectivesolutions and close plans for all qualified opportunities and drivetheir execution. Accurately forecast sales revenue and analyse your own key performanceindicators, trends and results. Maintain and promote professional and technical knowledge by attendingeducational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishingpersonal networks; and participating in professional societies bothindividually and across your team. Network and build relationships within target accounts in order tounderstand key decision makers, and how we can help them evolve their business. Negotiate access to key decision makers and facilitate meetings withOracle Marketing Cloud executives. Develop cooperative closing strategy and tactics with sales managementDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:To be successful the Sales Executive will need: A strong understanding and experience of marketing automation / cloudmarketing or a closely related market. 5+ years of successful new business sales experience, consistentlymeeting or exceeding team targets. Ability to lead complex sales processes at Enterprise level withmultiple senior stakeholders. Excellent territory development, lead generation and qualification skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence crediblyand effectively at all levels of the organization, including executiveand C-level. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products andservices and position them against competitors. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Successful candidates will benefit from a background in on-demandsoftware sales with a significant services component, and haveexperience leveraging strategic relationships with external partners. Candidates will also benefit from knowledge and experience in CEBChallenger Sales and will be able to demonstrate how this has influencedtheir approach to selling. Detailed Description and Job Requirements:Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to alarge number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory(mainly Tier 3 accounts).Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions andrelated services to prospective and existing customers. Manage salesthrough forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, andplanning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of theapplication. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of avalue proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to closethe sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providingdirection and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex,involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in areaof specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years ofsales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrateaccounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledgeand/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C levelplayers. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills.Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills withprospects/customers. Travel may be needed.
