Established in 2013, Nashrock Recruitment are a specialist insurance recruitment company, covering all aspects of the UK insurance market, based in Billericay, Essex.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity due to maternity leave to acquire and run a HOT desk. We are recruiting for an experienced, driven and money hungry Consultant to join the existing busy and fast-paced team of Consultants to recruit for the UK, London & Lloyds insurance markets.


Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies
Visiting clients to build and develop relationships
Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry and what they do
Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts on job aggregator boards
Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers
Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy
Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants
Negotiating candidate salaries and client rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates
Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated

Experience & Attributes

For the role of Recruitment Consultant, it is essential that you have excellent organisation skills, a natural sales flair and the determination to take your career to the next level.

At least 1 year's previous agency experience
Ideally educated to a minimum of A Level
Understanding of the UK insurance market is extremely advantageous
Smart personal appearance
Have fire in your belly
Natural people skills - able to adapt to different personalities
