We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper on a part time basis to work for a Leicester based company who have provided professional outsourced, IT services to businesses in and around the East Midlands for over 17 years. The successful individual must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable.

We are an established, well respected team that values integrity and determination. We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about attributing to the growth.

Responsibilities

This fantastic opportunity would suit a confident bookkeeper, self-sufficient and experienced in handling the following to a high standard:

· Bookkeeping work including both sales and purchase ledger
· VAT analysis
· Bank reconciliation
· Debtor and creditor reconciliation
· Credit control
· Working with computerised accounting software such as Xero, SageLine 50
· General office administration including answering incoming calls, handling post, and other ad hoc administration/PA tasks

Qualifications and Skills

You must also have:

Recent, relevant experience (2 years +) working in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy
A good working knowledge and experience of accounts software, ideally Xero
Experience of working within a busy office environment
The ability to organise your own workload to achieve agreed deadlines
Excellent communication skills including a good telephone manner
Hours and Salary

Part time 20-30 hours per week over 5 days per week, Monday to Friday

Salary is based on a full time equivalent of between £20,000 and £24,000 depending on experience
