Instrument Technician - Pharmaceutical - 6 Month Contract Initially, Possible 12/18ths - £25Ltd

Adepto are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a time served Instrument Technician with some supervisory or management experience to assist the team of engineering coordinators as a Technical Specialist. This is a 6 month contract based at their site in Speke.

Job Purpose
The role holder will operate and perform in a broad range of varied planned and unplanned maintenance activities that support the overall team and business objectives. The role holder will have to operate with a degree of autonomy, once relevant training is completed.
Major Accountabilities
1. To deliver engineering support to customers for planned and unplanned maintenance requirements and:
*Ensuring that all documentation is completed correctly, accurately in a timely manner and signed by the relevant personnel
*Ensuring compliance to HSE regulations
*Be aware of and comply with all departmental, site and corporate standard operating procedures.
*Plan and execute routine work.
2. To understand, execute and promote a cGMP compliant culture, ensuring that the highest standards of housekeeping and safety are applied within their own work area and share workshop, in accordance with the Orange Guide and CFR regulations.
3. Deliver departmental objectives are achieved and ensure operational decisions made by others are executed in a timely manner. Liaise with members of other departments in a professional manner, providing and receiving support and feedback.
4. Plan and attend training in a timely manner and ensures training records are up to date.
5. Actively promote a safety culture and raises Near Misses/Accident & Incident Reports when required.
6. Support organizational change, process improvements and CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives.
7. Have a good knowledge of Maximo requirements, have the ability to demonstrate and coach its basic functions.
8. Demonstrate engineering competency at a level to be able to carry out PPM activity, plus some specialist knowledge in limited areas. Can carry out basic coaching and training.
9. Solve reoccurring and multi cause problems.
Key Performance Indicators
1. On time completion of allocated PMs and work orders.
2. Adherence to schedule.
3. Right first time on all GMP documentation.
