An exciting opportunity has come up for full time Buying Administrator for my marketing leading client This is a contract with the possibility of going permanent
Reporting to the Buying director, you will help maintain our supply inventory levels, negotiate deals with suppliers and put in place small projects to improve stocks and buying power. This will include conducting regular price comparisons to ensure that the company is always getting the best price and volumes to match demand patterns.

As part of a friendly and supportive office team, you are required to work closely with colleagues daily to ensure that all shared administrative tasks are completed.
Experience in buying from overseas is advantageous but not essential.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily order suggestions
Maximising stock availability whilst minimising stock levels
Maintain a good supplier relationship
Continually develop tools and processes to ensure best practice
Support the Operations function to ensure timely deliveries
Support the Buying function with pricing and delivery queries
Support Sales function by obtaining quotes from suppliers
Raise Sales orders and invoices when required
Match AP invoices
Create Ad hoc business queries from the ERP system

Your Essential Skills / Knowledge:
Ability to work independently and take the initiative when required
Experience using MRP / ERP systems
Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Proficient in computer skills, especially MS office and Google applications
Educated to a minimum of A Level, with GCSE Maths & English grade A – C
