QA Developer / Dev in Test / Contract

QA Developer required for a Cambridge based client looking to implement an automation testing framework. As part of their ongoing desire to improve their software functionality, they are looking to implement automation testing capabilities into their process, and need a QA Developer who is capable of designing the automation process and developing a strategy to run fully automated acceptance and regression testing. Ideally this candidate will be able mentor the existing in house testing team in how to maintain the new framework.

Key Responsibilities:
* Create a process for implementation of automated testing
* Successfully implement the testing framework
* Implement a strategy to fully automate all regression and acceptance testing moving forward
* Ensure the existing testing team can maintain the automated testing moving forward
* Aid in the writing of gherkin features for ongoing pieces of work

Requirement:
* Experience in setting up an automation testing environment
* TDD Commercial experience
* Exposure to PHPUnit, Behat or Codeception
* Version control capabilities with Git
* Ideally have knowledge of AWS, Docker, and BDD
