We have the exact opportunity, with a client who is a specialist within their field, focusing on the financial management of personal injury awards and providing their clients with bespoke financial advice. When discussing investments, they dedicate their time to individuals and their families who have suffered with personal injury, dealing directly with the professionals involved in the process: Lawyers, Trustees, Deputies and Case Managers.

Role

My client is looking for an Investment Administrator to provide support to the team in all aspects of investments and portfolio administration and process investment transactions through the organisations IT platforms, in accordance with quality standards regulation and compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

* Managing client cash positions and requests
* Cash and stock reconciliations
* Posting cashbook transactions and maintaining sub-ledgers
* Timely production of client and regulatory reporting
* Maintaining account records accurately to reflect correct and up to date information
* Processing daily data/price feeds and verification upon completion

To be successful you will need:

* You must have proven back office operations experience from the financial services industry, specifically relating to investments
* Demonstrable ability in using Microsoft Excel in the workplace, with strong skills in numeracy and accuracy
* Excellent problem solving skills and able to deal with high volumes of work, as well as show attention to detail when instructing high value transactions
* Degree educated (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, such as Economics, Maths, Accounting and Finance etc., however extensive experience will be considered
* Ideally you will also have, or be studying towards, relevant IOC, FA or RO qualifications (or equivalent)
