Working within the Dividends department with the focus on ensuring all dividends, interest payments and other departmental work is completed correctly within the set deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards in order to deliver service excellence to our clients.

•Ensure all work is completed accurately while maintaining strict adherence to internal SLAs and event timetables.

•To ensure workloads of the department are met through a personal contribution of taking on and completing an even share of the workloads, including in peak periods providing overtime working as required.

•To review, understand and document requirements of all dividend events in order to develop and adopt specific working practices and procedures.

•Carry out all tasks in accordance with internal procedures and to ensure any problems are effectively resolved and escalated to a Manager immediately upon discovery.

•Adoption of a flexible approach and apply initiative to all aspects of work.

•To cooperate with and support the other dividend teams at all times promoting the mentality of operating as a single team.

•Effectively working with other Link support units and external business partners to ensure that the Client’s expectations of performance (timeliness, accuracy, etc.) are met.

•To focus on continued self-development in order to build and maintain a strong technical understanding and to further develop managerial and leadership skills.

•To support the section management in order to achieve successful completion of all events.

•To support Administrators in completion of their daily tasks and assist with any problems they may have.

•To continually review and consider the effectiveness of the team and the laid down procedures and to be pro-active in the creation and implementation of new ideas.

•To maintain team (and department) morale and confidence by effective communication and adopting an approachable manner.

•As required (and when requested from your line management) to provide support to other dividend teams to help meet overall business priorities. Additionally, to provide support working within other departmental teams as required.

•To monitor workflow to ensure that events are processed in an organised manner and within the published timescales.

•To allocate specific events in conjunction with Manager to ensure that staff are fully employed and motivated.

•To utilise systems effectively in completion of the tasks particularly with reference to spreadsheet and database solutions.

•Ensure that staff complies with the relevant regulatory requirements when completing tasks.

•To develop and monitor training plans for Administrators in conjunction with the Manager.

•To undertake staff training to ensure that Administrators have the necessary levels of knowledge and confidence to complete the tasks required of them.

•To monitor the performance and effectiveness of the team and individuals.

•To carry out quality checks and all other MI tools as determined by management.

•Whilst this is a reflection of the role it is not exhaustive and employees will be expected to be flexible and take on activities outside of those listed from time to time.

Qualifications

The individual should be educated to A level and should have strong Corporate Actions experience. The individual must possess the following qualities and skills:
