Purpose of the role:
To co-ordinate the learners experience from sign up through to achievement, by supporting the wider teams in identifying learners at risk and using positive interventions to remove barriers and aid achievement. Work with Smart Assessor to support progression and aid retention. (office based position).

Key responsibilities:
1. To co-ordinate key elements of the learners journey to ensure good communication and one point of contact is available for learners at risk.
2. Implement and monitor a Learner at risk register.
3. To ensure contractual compliance across all aspects of delivery in relation to the co-ordination job function.
4. To increase learner retention and engagement.

Key duties:
• Confirm venues agreeing and co-ordinating venue booking
• Learner customer care calls to confirm attendance
• Co-ordinate workshop bookings to ensure learners are booked into each venue?
• Agree and co-ordinate calendar dates with ES team leader
• Work with Admin teams to ensure log ins for West are set up for all learners
• Monitor west diagnostics for all starts
• Liaise with Business development for future venue needs
• Produce management reports as and when required to include non-attendance and feed back to business development/sales
• Manage the learner at risk register
• Contact ES practitioner to confirm learner attendance for induction and workshops
• Identify learners who fail to attend and action with BD or ES and re book
• Identify learners at risk those learners who have missed one appointment. (remove)

• Contact all existing suspensions monthly and confirm they are planning to return – This can be phone or e-mail.
• Contact all new suspensions and validate suspension prior to processing.
• Write to all new suspensions informing them of the suspension and providing them with an expected return date and expectation of first review meeting.

Early leavers
• Contact all potential early leavers prior to processing and confirm that leave reason is valid
• Contact employer/s to confirm leaver is agreed by employer and reason is valid.
• Update leaver form with accurate leave dates for each aim and submit to you for authorisation
• Inform leavers, learners and employers in writing of their leave date and the reason for leaving
• Create and maintain a clear audit trail for leavers working with admin and the leaver spread sheet.

• At Risk’ learners to be reviewed monthly with Team Leaders to identify potential issues for learners that may need to be added to the ‘at risk’ register.
• Health & Safety – allocation of vets and monitoring and ELP across the teams working with team leaders for returns.
• Employer comments – manage and monitor the return of employer comments via e mail with team leaders and employers for compliance though the launch of born digital?

Key measures:
• Increase Learner engagement
• Increase Learner retention
• Aid the compliance of processes for (leavers, suspensions, attendances)

Qualifications & experience required:
Working knowledge of the Work Based Learning (WBL) sector
Organisational skills and a sound attention to detail
Competent numeracy skills
Excellent IT skills

Salary Dependant On Experience:
£18,000 - £20,000
