IT Support Technician

Salary: £18k - £22k doe

A superb opportunity exists to join a successful e-commerce retailer and offer 1st and 2nd line IT support to end-users and to solve IT issues as they arise. The Company have ambitious growth plans and are looking for someone with experience in a large business with multiple sites and networks.

Duties include;

Providing 1st and 2nd line support to users.
Systems testing
Disaster recovery, fault tolerance and high availability.
Defining network infrastructures and security.
Provide end-user applications support.
Configuring authentication and authorisation services to remote devices.
Setting up and configuring new systems.
Fault diagnostics.

Essential skills:

Solid understanding of software systems and basic architecture principles.
Knowledge of databases, design, SQL, management and report writing.
Experience in a 1st / 2nd line customer support position.
Confident communication skills.
PC and Laptop hardware fault finding and repairs experience beneficial.
Understanding of cloud principles and delivery mechanisms.
Software testing experience.
