Head of Event Marketing role working in a fast-growing business information provider
* Managing a portfolio of 40+ global B2B conferences
* Responsible for the global marketing budget
* Leading and developing a team of nine marketers across three global offices
* Sole responsibility for the delegate revenue number
* Supporting the lead generation strategy for sponsorship and exhibitor revenue opportunity

The Role: This is a key hire in this fast-growing business intelligence organisation. The events’ division drives a significant proportion of the company’s revenue and therefore they are looking for an experienced Head of Events Marketing to lead the team of nine marketers globally. The business has invested in a new database, automation platform, data profiling and predictive analytic tools and artificial intelligence to create an innovative marketing hub that can produce market-leading campaigns. The Head of Event Marketing will work closely with all the internal teams (subscription marketing, data team, digital team, sales teams and editorial) to align campaign strategy, create content-lead inbound marketing campaigns and help the wider business achieve their goals. The successful candidate will be commercially astute, data-driven, analytically-minded and have a drive to grow the turnover and profitability of the business division.

Responsibilities for the position of Head of Event Marketing include:

* Creating and designing the marketing strategy that will support revenue growth plans
* Managing, training and developing a team of nine marketing professionals based across three global offices
* Recruiting and retaining staff
* Growing the existing event portfolio; and launching new global events
* Continuing the implementation of the current marketing technology stack
* Enhancing the quantity and quality of marketing channels utilised
* Building cross divisional relationships to align campaigns and goals
* Running regular customer and competitor analysis to continue to develop and improve the events portfolio
* Forging a strong relationship with the sales team
* Instilling a data-driven marketing approach to the existing marketing team

Requirements for the role of Marketing Director:

* Worked for a global B2B events organisation
* Proven success of managing an events marketing division
* Clear understanding of the latest marketing techniques
* Owned and forecasted a sizeable marketing budget
* Experience of developing existing technology stacks (CRM, Automation, Websites)
* Be a data-driven, analytics first marketer
* Senior level stakeholder management experience

The Package for Head of Event Marketing:

* Salary: £65,000-75,000
