Lecturer in Electrical Installation Bury St Edmunds - £24,348- £34,140 depending on qualifications and experience

An exciting opportunity has become available to join West Suffolk College Construction team as a lecturer in Electrical Installation.

Role responsibilities

* Teach and assess on a range of programmes as required by the Section Leader, delivering on the Electrical Installation elements.
* Participate in the development of existing and new course programmes and to assume responsibility for areas of work as appropriate.
* Participate in course team meetings, curriculum planning and materials development as appropriate
* Attend Parent, Career, other evenings and open events as appropriate.
* Participate in the development and delivery of short course programmes.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

* Degree or Level 3 vocational qualification in Electrical Installation
* Current Wiring Regulations Qualification
* An Inspection and Testing Qualification would be advantageous (eg 2391)
* Possession of a Certificate in Education, PGCE or other higher teaching qualification would be advantageous.
* Assessors award would be advantageous
* Significant industry/workplace experience
