SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT-PHYSICAL DISABILITY REQUIRED TO START AFTER EASTER –PRIMARY SCHOOL IN SALFORD, M3

SEN teaching assistant required to start after Easter

Supply Desk are working closely with a primary school in the Salford area (M3).This Salford primary school was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in the most recent report. Life at this Salford Primary School is based on four shared values: happiness, achievement, respect and determination and is fully equipped to cater for children with special educational needs.

As an SEN teaching assistant you would be required to support a child on a 1:1 basis with physical disabilities. You will work closely with the child to assist them in lessons, aid them with mobility across the school and assist the child with personal care, you will be required to work lunch and break times as the child will need help and assistance with eating lunch and outdoor play. This role is a very physical, hands on role and the school are looking for a SEN teaching assistant who is passionate, caring and has experience working with children with limited mobility and fine motor skills.
