A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and hard-working individual to join a growing exhibitions marketing team based in the heart of Manchester. As Marketing Manager, your primary role will be to drive visitor registrations and attendance to events, whilst building brand recognition and market position. This is a rapidly growing division who currently organise eight exhibitions per year, which feature a high level conference, extensive seminar programme and over 100 exhibitors. You’ll be working in a fast moving, challenging, target driven and sales focused environment.

You will work alongside the senior marketing manager to research, write and implement the strategic marketing plan, and be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the visitor acquisition and retention campaigns. You will also provide strategic support to the sales team to ensure the commercial success of the exhibition, which includes the creation of sales support materials, generating sales leads and sales marketing campaign planning. You will also have a key role to play in the building and onsite management of the event on the day.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leadership and management of the marketing team
* Support the senior marketing manager with researching and writing the exhibition marketing plan
* To deliver the visitor acquisition campaign in accordance with the senior marketing manager
* Database analysis, segmentation and management
* Email marketing: Delivering the acquisition, retention and sales email marketing campaigns
* Event website: responsible for populating the website with content and carrying the event brand
* Liaising with external suppliers (PR, print, telemarketing) to deliver event collateral
* Coordinating the exhibitor, partner and speaker marketing plans to ensure stakeholder ROI
* Assisting the event team onsite with the set-up, registration and breakdown of the events
* Collating the post-exhibition report
* General administrative support to the senior marketing manager
* Source new media relationships to further the exhibition brand
