Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to work on a number of digital and technology projects, capturing business requirements and processes, identifying opportunities for improvements, and working with business stakeholders, end users, subject-matter experts, project managers, solution architects, and technologists to meet business and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

Understand business objectives using a range of business analysis techniques to elicit, capture and analyse functional and non-functional requirements, define business processes, and contribute to business cases
Work with stakeholders to obtain agreement on features, user stories, and requirements; understand business context and technology impact; and prioritise to meet business objectives
Use business analysis methods to elicit, create and document requirements and processes
Contribute to project and resource plans
Collaborate on the design and selection of solutions with enterprise and solution architects, and technical consultants
Develop domain-level business architectures and encourage the adoption of simplified business processes and applications
Identify and raise risks and issues that may affect delivery plans
Establish acceptance criteria and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of deliverables

About you:

You are a business analyst with experience of working with different project delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, waterfall), comfortable with a broad range of stakeholders, from senior management to hands-on team members, and able to support those with little technology knowledge as well as those who are technologically savvy.
Ideally you will have experience of working on customer-facing online products and services and/or back office systems. You will be comfortable working with remotely-located teams as well as those in the UK. Experience of working in educational publishing is highly desirable, as is experience of working in an Agile project delivery environment (particularly Scaled Agile Framework or Scrum).

You will be:

Self-starting, insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and consultative
An excellent communicator with exceptional stakeholder management skills
Able to simplify and communicate complex concepts and information
Degree-educated or equivalent experience.
