My client, a specialist in the Automotive Engineering Sector, based in Worcestershire, is looking to recruit a Technical Sales Support person specialising in Emissions.

This role will involve understanding the companies emissions equipment portfolio, supporting and presenting this to clients and preparing the most appropriate costed technical quotations for all the customers’ needs and requests.

As a suitable candidate you will be expected to

- To develop and produce technical solutions and priced quotations in response to Customer requirements for fixed and mobile emissions measurement and analysis equipment. This includes providing table top drawings, sales literature and making any presentations which are required to support the bidding process. The tasks will include liaising with the UK Sales Team and other colleagues both in the UK and Business Units throughout the organisation.
- To use Quote tools.
- To prepare Handover information and interface with the Order Fulfilment organisation for successful Quotes.
- To develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in systems and products
- To develop and maintain harmonious relations with colleagues throughout the group and with potential, past and present customers.
- To comply with all Quality Assurance and Environmental Protection procedures pertinent to the proposed solution.
- To work proactively to find ways by which the process and products can be improved.
- To travel to customer sites as is reasonably required to achieve the targets set for the role, including giving equipment demonstrations and presentations.
- To carry out any other duties as reasonably required commensurate with the nature of the job and level of responsibility

The requirements for the job include
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and IT literate.
- An Automotive, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering background is essential, preferably with experience in emissions measurement systems.
- Qualified to Higher National Diploma (HND) or above.
- A Team Player and willing to accept responsibility within the role.
- Commitment, flexibility and self-motivation
- Full UK valid driving license
- Ability to travel internationally as required
