Test Tools Architect - SC Cleared

MOD Corsham

6 month contract

£380 - £430 per day

This is a delivery focused, hands-on Test Tool Architect role that requires the ability to:

support projects in the use of testing tools efficiently
*

ensure effect introduction of automated testing where beneficial to the success of a project
*

develop automation resources
*

advise on best use of tools, including non-functional tools where appropriate
*

configure tools as necessary

Essential skills:

*

Managing tooling to provide measurable advantages to the projects and help them deliver faster with transparently controlled risk
*

Experience of the Test Lifecycle particularly SIT and UAT within a multi-programme, multi technology environment.
*

Experience of testing complex technical integrations
*

Experience of C# and TFS
*

Experience of non-functional tooling
*

Experience in configuring SharePoint
*

Experience in automating reports
*

Able to develop and use various methods of presenting test metrics and measures across disparate portfolios of work
*

Able to define appropriate automation frameworks to support integration testing in and across projects
*

Experience of designing and building automation suites to support ongoing regression testing
*

Risk management, in particular using techniques to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions about implementing new releases with known risk
*

Experience of working in a formal process framework where informative reports are created daily and the test infrastructure helps projects deliver efficiently.
