Alex Tosney is recruiting for a Packaging Project Manager to work for a world leading pharmaceutical company. The Packaging Project Manager will be working at their site in Hatfield on a full time Contract basis with an initial duration of 24 months. This client is offering an opportunity to work for a pharmaceutical company that believes in putting patients and their families first, with the aim of improving healthcare benefits.

As a Packaging Project Manager you will be responsible for provision of Technical expertise with a focus on Technology Transfer and the Process Validation of the Packaging Operations.

Further responsibilities include:
· Lead Technology Transfer, optimisation and validation of new packaging processes.
· Lead Project Management of cross functional teams.
· Lead, Define, Plan and Execute process development and validation studies.
· Lead & support Continuous Improvement activities.
· Provision of Technical guidance and expertise on Packaging PD & PV to Key Sponsors, Stakeholders and Project teams.
· Generate Technical and Validation reports, protocols and procedures to support Packaging activities.
· Support Regulatory submissions and generation of filing documents.
· Support packaging material changes.
· Support the execution of approved activity in accordance with agreed schedules.
· Support Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of responsibility.

As a Packaging Project Manager you should have demonstrable skills and experience in:
· Degree/Degree level in scientific / engineering related subject (e.g. pharmacy / chemistry / chemical engineering / mechanical engineering).
· Qualification in project management desirable.
· Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industry in an operational or support role including Project and Production Operations management.
· Practical hands on experience of solid dosage form packaging technology & equipment.
· Demonstrable familiarity of the EMEA, EU & MHRA regulations for pharmaceutical Packaging operations.
