Our client is looking to recruit an ICT Sales Account Manager in Scotland. To succeed you'll need to be a dynamic and driven experienced sales executive with high activity to deliver their ambitious growth targets.

Successful candidates will also be required to develop, own and deliver key bids working across functional disciplines and particularly closely with the operations team and head of sales. Working across the SME, Enterprise and Public Sectors to deliver sales targets.

As a leading Technology Services Integrator, our client designs, tests, builds, deploys and supports voice and data enterprise infrastructure solutions which support business operations and facilitate the staging of world-class events. They also help organisations to harness the power of ICT, to maximise performance and productivity.

As they continue to successfully grow business within this market they need a sales account manager who can target midsize and larger opportunities (from £100k upwards) working directly with end customers, partner vendors & suppliers. With an absolute focus on winning, the sales account manager will be expected to develop and recommend strategies to maximise our return on investment. Ability to work across the company to understand and promote wider capabilities is also essential.

- Convert opportunities to deals
- Increase contract base
- Develop client relationships
- Client & networking presentations
- Create campaigns, supported by Marketing & Telesales.
- Support key marketing events
- Proposal writing

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
Essential skills:
- Demonstrable experience of exploiting and developing new sales opportunities within the ICT markets.
- Confident networker and presenter.
- Interest in technology

Key Experience
- Track record in closing larger deals
- Proven skills in building long-term customer relationships that drive benefit into the company
- SME background would be advantageous, not essential
