Kingsley Consulting is currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Director of Resources for a leading organisation within the housing sector. Our client is forward thinking and is heavily involved with a number of new build and regeneration projects with the local community.

This position will see the successful candidate managing both financial and management accounting functions within the business, assisting with the development of corporate strategies, service design and supporting overall performance objectives ensuring the continuous and effective delivery of high performing financial services.

Remuneration & Package:

Duration: Permanent
Salary: Up to £60,000
Hours: 37 per week
Flexible working arrangements
24 days holiday entitlement + bank holidays with option to purchase additional holiday.
Additional Benefits

Key Deliverables:

- Implement and develop business Resource strategies in line with corporate delivery objectives and growth plans.
- Motivate and develop the company Resource Team to maintain and achieve key performance indicators, ensuring they understand service strategy and are actively involved in its improvement.
- Responsible for all financial services including treasury management, funding agreements and covenant compliance
- Developing action plans relating to services provided to internal and external customers to attain specific customer requirements as well as making improvement recommendations and documenting / presenting this information when required.
- Preparation and submission of regulatory information relating to corporation tax and VAT.

Individual Requirements:

- Qualified Accountant with a proven background in managing both financial & management accounting functions.
- Working knowledge and experience of managing resource functions such as Finance, IT and Project Management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management being able to effectively communicate often complex financial information to a range of audiences.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and mentor team members as well as drive forward a positive working philosophy.
- Experience within the housing sector would be preferable but not essential.
