Senior SEO Manager

Upto £45k

My client is a well known Digital Agency which has grown from a well established Media business. They are looking for a Senior SEO Manager with a wealth of experience to join their team!

The role

* Build out the SEO product and service proposition
* Work with the Digital MD build the SEO business plan
* Design, document and implement delivery processes including identifying and licensing the appropriate software
* Attend selected new business meetings with prospect clients and present the benefits & ROI of SEO
* Conduct the analysis of client current position and provide detailed reporting highlighting opportunities and strategy
* Own SEO delivery for MNA owned properties
* Manage initial clients personally and ensure customer satisfaction
* Work with marketing manager to build case study and credential decks for SEO
* Upskill business development team to ensure they understand the SEO value proposition
* Recruit and manage SEO team in line with SEO business plan
* Deliver internal performance reports and progress against agreed KPI’s and attend weekly management meetings.

The person and skills

* 3+ years experience in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in the UK
* Good presenter and confident presenting SEO strategies and reviews directly to clients
* Able to analyse client websites to troubleshoot and prioritise site architecture and performance issues
* Experienced with the best industry tools to achieve results in a cost effective scalable way
* Hands on and confident in delivering campaign strategy and execution without supporting analysts and team in order to build out proposition
* Maintain expertise on digital news, patents, trends and algorithm updates
* Liaise with clients to update them on campaign progress, answer questions in a comprehensive and clear manner
* Comprehensive understanding of technical as well as on page SEO from analysis to recommendations and implementation
* Comprehensive understanding of industry standard tools including Search Console and Bing Webmaster tools.
* Some knowledge of HTML and CSS may be required.
* Experience in organic link building is essential, as is a strong understanding of backlink profiles and rectifying penalties associated with low quality link building methods.
* Reporting - Campaign wrap-ups about traffic, link, ranking and revenue analysis/ Calculation of ROI
* Good knowledge of CMS and the benefits and weaknesses of popular platforms
* Able to work well with ambiguity and comfortable building and owning the SEO proposition
