JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is a hands-on operational Compliance Manager role where you will be accountable as the key compliance and project manager.

Typical Duties Include:

Setting up risk framework and the action plans with with each business owner to mitigate the risks the company is exposed to.

Draft and prepare all policies (procurement, AML, ABB, Sanctions, corporate responsibility) and develop the related processes required from regulatory standpoint with all the companies businesses and employees.

Manage any FCA and ACPR projects

Conduct the implementation of key regulatory changes in particular to define, advise and monitor all the necessary changes in the handling of personal data by the company to comply with the GDPR coming into force in May 2018

Provide compliance internally for all departments including IT, HR, Marketing, Distribution and Technical teams.

Provide compliance externally - support all clients requisites relating to the companies compliance standards and policies

Acting as a risk and audit committee the compliance monitoring report in line with the objectives defined.

Review the output from the Monitoring Programme and incident log and ensure that any remedial action is completed

Undertake and monitor compliance training of the companies employees;

Review and approval of financial promotions;

Work alongside the business and Legal to conduct due diligence of third party services company

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The successful candidate for the Compliance Manager role will have the following:

Solid knowledge of the FCA regulatory framework as well as well as ACPR regulatory requirement
applicable to insurance and reinsurance intermediary

Minimum of 5 – 8 years experience in Compliance/ Regulatory role in the insurance/ reinsurance sectors

Project Management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Team player and good communicator both written and oral

Good analytical skills

Operate with minimum support or guidance

Good business acumen to take a practical viewpoint and help support effective solutions

Fluent in French, an advantage

Familiarity with Regulatory issues relating to Insurance and Reinsurance intermediary would be
beneficial
