About the SEN Teaching Position;

We are seeking a SEN Teacher who is looking for a long-term opportunity starting after Easter within an SEN Independent School located in Essex. The SEN School are seeking an outgoing SEN Teacher who has relevant experience and confidence in their ability to teach while willing to go the extra mile to ensure students reach their full potential. The selected teacher would need to have Team Teach training as well as being experienced in teaching students with Challenging Behaviours, Learning Difficulties and ASD. The school are a very small independent with thirty pupils with a maximum of fourth two students. they have split the school into seven classrooms which cater to 6-7 students each class. One class has been created for a few students who are on the Autistic Spectrum (Non-Verbal).

About the SEN School:

Located in Essex this SEN Independent School provide schooling for thirty pupils with severe, profound or complex learning difficulties. They recently expanded their facilities to include a KS3 Unit for ASD students who are low functioning from 11-13-year olds. Many of our pupils have very special educational challenges including autism, communication disorders or dyspraxia. The school is situated in beautiful forest surroundings on the edge of Epping Forest, this SEN School is only one mile from the M11 and M25 motorways and therefore within easy daily reach of central, north and east London, Essex, Middlesex, Hertfordshire and Kent. The school is also within easy access of neighbourhood shops, libraries and other public amenities so pupils may enjoy a variety of activities within the wider community.
