Our client are a market leading Building Services Group who are looking to recruit a Mobile Mechanical Engineer.
You will be working for the building services maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be energetic and ambitious. You will be joining a well-established national company.
Office is based in Aldershot and you will be required to cover; the M3 corridor, Farnham, Guildford, Surrey and on the odd occasion London. You will be working on commercial premises such as; offices, retail and leisure.
Responsibilities include:
-Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive and servicing on all mechanical plant and equipment covering heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, water systems, AHU's, FCU's, replacing pumps, belts & pulleys
-Ensure that reactive maintenance, call-outs & breakdowns are carried out on all mechanical building plant & equipment
_ Minor installation works
-Ensure that detailed maintenance records are kept
-To develop a good working relationship with all members of internal & external customers
-Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment
- Ensure compliance with all companies policies and procedures
-Ensure a professional image is presented to clients and visitors, and excellent customer service is delivered and promoted at all times
Essential requirements:
-You will need to be educated to NVQ or City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering
-Good previous knowledge of general building services and the Health & Safety at Work Act
-Good knowledge in the industry working on commercial, private sector or residential contracts
-Good verbal and written communication skills, numerate & literate
-Self-motivated, with a high level of personal integrity able to work well both in a team and alone, well organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high-pressure environments.
