Our client is looking for a Repair Technician to join their service team - based within a busy, professional Customer Service environment.

The successful candidate will be working within a European service centre.

This team includes a group of technicians supporting a wide range of professional Audio and Visual products to the Business to Business customer base.

* The Technician will be responsible for carrying out timely repairs, including fault finding analysis down to component level.
* You may need to provide technical support to our Business customers and end users.
* Communicating updates to the customer (internal and external).
* Updating the service centres computer system at every stage to ensure smooth communication between the company and the customer.
* Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) at all times, to ensure the agreed Turn Around Time is within target.
* Ensure that repairs are well presented ready for return to customer, cleaned ready for installation.
* Flexibility with regards to supporting product areas outside of the primary product area.
* Report quality concerns to line manager.

Experience in Technical Support, Repair or Installation of one or more of the following product categories is essential:

* Professional AV including Flat Panel Display and Projector.
* CCTV / Security Technology.
* Professional Broadcast Cameras.

A Formal or Vocational Qualification in Electronic Engineering is desirable Skills required:

* Teamwork.
* Excellent communication skills - verbal, listening and written.
* Trouble shooting skills.
* Network experience.

Experience of customer facing activities is ideal.

You must possess the ability to think logically and clearly, able to make decisions and use your own judgement when necessary
