Multi-Skilled hands-on Engineer sought to lead and manage all build requirements for a stable branch of a global business. You will be joining a forward thinking company who manage projects on shared basis across 11 countries ensuring a varied and busy workload.

Ideally apprentice trained with solid electrical & mechanical ability, you can expect duties to include:

? Works according to stated Build processes

? Purchase parts & components specified in the Bill of Material to the project

? Responsible for receiving inspection and batching of material for the project

? Responsible for the build of conveyor systems

? Responsible to regularly monitor maintain sufficient quality of the build work

? Manages local build team and can act as Project Manager on smaller projects

? Plan the build-up of equipment together with Project Manager and discuss resource (build resources, floor space etc.) with the Production Manager

? Responsible for the Production and Installation work to be carried out

? Responsible for the build teams' continuous quality controls of performed work.

? Plan the project installation, (together with Project Manager & Production Manager).

Although based at their Midlands site, this role will also involve overseas travel to carry out the installation of equipment. Duties here will include managing the installation team working directly with the customer and completing all required plans, risk assesments and team training.

This position is key to the business, therefore we require candidates with solid experience along with drive and the capability to make informed decisions both autonomously and within a team. It is essential you have both mechancial & electrical knowledge with the ability to be hands-on with mechanical fitting and cable installation as well as leading the build team. You must also have an understanding of how PLC software is used to ensure the smooth running of the installation process.

Package on offer will include a base salary c£27-30k experience depending with an 8% pension, 20 days holiday rising to 25 year on year, paid site overtime & allowances and free breakfast and lunch provided every working day. It should also be noted this business are not a fan of overtime in the UK as weekend time is a priority for family and relaxing.

International travel is a reqirment for this role – you could be away for up to 3 weeks at a time project dependent. Allowances and expenses are paid.
