Job Title; Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)

Salary; £28,000- £32,000 per annum

Shift; 40 Hours per week (flexible working hours), + paid overtime available

Location: Rutland
Commutable From: Oakham, South Luffenham, Clipsham, Stamford, Uppingham, Lyddington, Launde Abbey, South Witham, Edith Weston and Corby

Our client based in Rutland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an established and growing business with firm connections to prestigious marques within the automotive industry

The successful individual will be an integral part of the Maintenance Team by providing PPM and reactive maintenance support to an array of production machinery.

***This is a permanent position and immediately available

The Role;
Conduct repairs and maintenance of all machinery on site including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic to a high standard
Carry out modifications to machine controls and documents; update drawings as required
Undertake reactive and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment and machinery in line with the TPM plan
Contribute and actively participate in continuous improvement activities
Carry out offline repairs to spare parts to ensure availability for continued production
Assist with stock control of parts and materials
Ensure all company procedures are followed as necessary
Ensure housekeeping is to the correct quality standard through use of the housekeeping assessment system in line with cells of excellence
Demonstrate at all times a proactive and flexible approach and to carry out any other reasonable duties as and when directed by the Production Shift Manager/Engineering Manager

Our Ideal Candidate;
Electrical installation experience [working to 17th edition an advantage] with some working knowledge of PLCs and HMI control systems
Ability to work with electrical engineering drawings
A strong electrical background preferably with a recognised City & Guilds, ONC or NVQ certificate in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Maintenance
A working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
Capable of working as part of a team with relatively little supervision and using own initiative
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a willingness to listen and learn
Flexible with the ability to follow instruction and work in a high paced environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
