A school in the Sutton borough are looking for academic mentors to join their department and support their GCSE students!
***Academic Mentor required in a range of subjects in Sutton
***Academic Mentor required for September – beginning of new academic year!
***Friendly and bright core-subject graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree
***Academic Mentor required to support Key Stage 3 and 4 lessons!
***Long-term, full-time role – no day-to-day or supply!
***Experience working with students advantageous!
***£60-£70 paid per day!
The Academic Mentor:
>Degree in core subject (Maths, Sciences, English, Humanities)
>Strong A-levels and GCSE’s
>Experience in an academic support role highly advantageous (but not essential)
The Academic Mentor role will involve you providing support to students in their GCSE revision and will assist in lower years in your chosen subject. When instructed by the teacher, you will take pupils out for 1:1 and group sessions to turn complex course material into tangible ideas.
The school seeking an Academic Mentor is based in Sutton, South London. They are particularly keen to meet a core-subject graduate to join their existing team of graduate support staff and will support their students in their academic journeys.
