Service Desk Analyst – 1st / 2nd Line Support

£30,000-35,000 D.O.E + Additional Benefits

Service Desk Analyst required to provide 1st and 2nd Line support both remotely and deskside for an insurance group in central London.
Ideally you will have previous experience working in a Financial/Insurance environment (or otherwise another professional services industry; Banking, Financial Services, Legal, Accountancy or similar.)

Our client is an up and coming Insurance Group with a fantastic reputation. We are now hiring into our Central London office for an IT Service Desk Analyst, who can provide astounding support to the firms partners across the country, with a solid understanding of the business infrastructure, computer incident management and troubleshooting. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in a clear career pathway and is looking for some excitement.

Expectations & Requirements:

The successful applicant will have at least one years experience in a Professional Services environment.

The IT Service Desk Analyst will utilise their broad IT knowledge ideally including Microsoft Office Suite, Time recording systems (i.e. InTapp, Carpe Diem, Visual File Time recording), Financial Systems (Elite 3e, Artiion).

Any exposure to ITIL processes advantageous.

Strong & proven fault finding / trouble-shooting skills are essential as well as the ability to take ownership of issues & manage them right through to successful resolution; ensuring 100% satisfaction.

The IT Service Desk Analyst will also need strong communication skills as they will be liaising with colleagues of all levels from across the whole business, providing a high level of service and also, sharing their ideas to add value to the IT Service Desk team too.

Shift patterns Monday to Friday: 08.00-18:00

Base: Central London.
