Drama Graduate for Primary TA role – September 2018

Are you a creative Drama Graduate looking to share your theatrical nature with children before potentially leading your own drama classes?

***Drama Graduate for Teaching Assistant role in Sutton
***Drama Graduate position starting September 2018 for the entire academic year
***Minimum 2:2 degree classification
***Good subject knowledge in general primary curriculum and strong GCSE’s
***Long-term, full time position – no day-to-day or supply roles!
***£60-£65 a day paid on a weekly basis!

The chosen Drama Graduate will be a caring and fun graduate who ideally has experience in drama work shops or theatrical sessions with young people. They will have a strong subject knowledge around the Primary curriculum and will be able to support students in achieving their SPAG targets. They must have the skills to create an encouraging, productive atmosphere and use their passionate character to engage pupils.

Role and Responsibilities of the Drama Graduate:

>Providing support to the class lead in lessons
>When instructed, take pupils out for 1:1 and small group interventions
>Provide general support in creating displays, marking homework and assisting in assemblies/trips!

This is the perfect opportunity for a Drama Graduate to gain some experience working with young people before potentially going onto teacher training or running their own drama workshops!
