This market leading and progressive commercial company are looking for an experienced Credit Controller for an initial period of 9 months (maternity cover) but the role could go permanent.

THE ROLE
* Coordinating debts of existing customers
* Handling over 150 accounts
* Managing debt recovery
* Chasing all accounts
* Credit checking
* Negotiating repayment plans
* Agreeing and setting time-scales for debt repayment
* Checking credit ratings
* Maintaining relationships with clients to ensure payment of invoices
* Preparing monthly reports for Director
* Liaising with internal departments regarding accounts
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
* Credit control experience essential
* Used to handling volume accounts
* Calm and confident telephone manner
* Establish and maintain client and internal relationships
* Used to a fast paced, proactive environment
* Problem solving skills essential
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Initial 9 month maternity contract
* Working hours 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Friday (early finish on a Friday)
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
