Motor Trade Claims Handler

To provide support to the motor trade department, ensuring conversion of business seen in previous years and to assist account executives in the retention of renewals. To achieve company income targets in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements

Main duties involve:

To handle all claims in the Motor Trade Department in a timely and professional manner.

Duties include interviewing claimants to obtains full information about the claim, ensuring claim is fully and correctly set up on Insurer systems, completing and scanning complex documents, and sharing information with claimants and company representatives.

To guide claimants through the claims process and liaising with insurance company representatives to
ensure claims are fully and properly adjudicated.

To pass all non-fault claims to Kindertons, ensuring accurate records are kept.

To diarise all claims currently being handled and chasing insurers until settlement. To set up a seven-day diary for chasing all vehicle inspections until authorised.

To ensure that the client is receiving a good service and ensuring a fair settlement for the client in the
event of a claim.

You will be expected to attend all monthly team meetings and sales meetings.

Set targets are to be agreed achieved and reviewed with the job holders line manager on a regular basis

Will also deal with Administration duties, i.e, photocopying, scanning, filing and faxing as and when required.

Must have up to date Motor Claims handling experience.
