Account Lead / Account Manager / Sales Consultant (Manufacturing)
Our client are a leading critical equipment manufacturer based in Birmingham seeking an Account Lead to work in the Commercial team caring for and developing key accounts. This is a challenging role ideally suited to a candidate that wishes to progress their skills and work in an interesting environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include all aspects of sales management for the company, including, but not limited to: -
• Developing customer relationships with your accounts to maximise account value
• Produce quotations and respond to enquiries in a timely manner
• Process orders and acknowledge to customers in a timely manner
• Manage and prioritise tasks
• Ensure continued communication and good relationships with external and internal customers
• To carry out any other duties appropriate to this post, as necessary or as required.

Account Lead / Account Manager / Sales Consultant (Manufacturing)

Developing customer relationships with your accounts to maximise account value
• Working with a prescribed list of dedicated customers.
• Regular interactions with customers in the form of meetings (on and offsite), phone, email, conference calls, one to ones and regular reviews
• Retain records of conversations, emails, meeting notes, etc.
• Undertake company training designed to help you maximise the account value.
• Provide monthly inputs to assist Internal Sales Manager with forecasting of expected orders.

Produce quotations and respond to enquiries in a timely manner
• Achieve turnaround times in accordance with the commercial team KPIs
• Maintain enquiry register with quotation details.
• Provide regular updates to Internal Sales Manager of quotation progress.
• Keep customers updated on progress of their enquiries
• Progress sub suppliers and internal colleagues.
• Process orders and acknowledge to customers in a timely manner
• Achieve order loading turnaround times in accordance with the commercial team KPIs
• Keep customers appraised of their orders via regular phone and email updates
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer is kept informed of progress.
