Specification
You will be responsible for managing large scale multi-disciplinary detailed design or
Electrification, Gauge clearance and Construction Management projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.
You will manage performance of projects within budget (prime cost, fee, programme) and act as key interface with all stakeholders including clients.
You will ensure that all projects achieve required quality standard in terms of Electrification, Gauge clearance and Construction Management, ensuring highest possible Railway HSE standards are achieved.
Qualifications Required
Relevant degree or extensive rail knowledge and experience with a demonstrable background in adding value to complex projects.
Membership of Association for Project Management and/or PRINCE 2 qualification.
Detailed knowledge of at least one discipline (Electrification and Gauge clearance, Arch, C&S, M&E) and an ability to co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams of designers and site investigation specialists.
Sound understanding and experience in the application of safety legislation and corporate safety procedures, including CDM.
Good understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance with knowledge of either Network Rail, Transport for London, NEC contracts desirable
