Are you a Linux Support enthusiast looking for a new opportunity within the Data Management space? Then this could be the next position for you!

Due to a large amount of growth in the EMEA region our client is on the lookout for a Linux/Unix Technical Support Engineer or Sys-Admin to join their brand-new team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone that loves solving technical problems as you will manage technical cases from start to resolution which may include working with the development team on identifying a possible solution.

There really is no ceiling on technical ability and you will develop and share your knowledge with peers and work together to go above and beyond for customers.

This is what you could be doing…

This position will see you join our client’s Linux/Unix focussed EMEA Technical Support Team which is made up of different technical backgrounds and skill sets.

You will be responsible for complex troubleshooting and will work with a team of passionate and dedicated trouble-shooters with the same goal of going above and beyond for their customers.

What it takes to join!

Essentials:

• Experience working in a Technical Support or Systems Administrator position
• Strong technical puzzle solving and technical troubleshooting abilities
• Strong experience supporting, or administrating Linux/Unix based environments
• A good understanding of Networking principals and fundamentals
• Can demonstrate strong prioritisation skills and has the ability to multi-task whilst dealing with multiple technical cases at once!
• A strong team player who can communicate well with multiple teams in the department as well as other teams in the Global region.

Advantageous:

• Experience supporting or administering Windows based environments would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Experience of troubleshooting or supporting backup software
