Our client based in Corby has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Project Lead to work with them on a permanent basis to project manage digital projects/campaigns from an initial concept to delivery. Particular emphasis is on co-ordinating workflow between internal and external agencies - ensuring project components are effectively tasked, managed, communicated and measured. You will also have responsibility to manage and improve existing platforms such as company websites, booking sites, e-commerce site, and more, and to effectively communicate changes and build positive relationships with stakeholders and agencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Project Management -

* Be responsible for the management of digital projects and programmes whilst taking a methodical approach, and considering company objectives, resource and assigned budget.
* To ensure concepts, objectives, approach and justification of the project are properly defined, agreed and communicated.
* To successfully manage the workflow of a project and ensure all aspect are considered, such as; objectives, brief, budget, resource, concepts/creatives, design, coding, testing, communication, launch, and measurement.
* To have the ability to adapt to change and manage risk within a project and stick to desired timescales.
* To manage projects successfully to ensure that the project sponsors/team including any external agencies are doing all that is required to guarantee the success of the project.
* Be directly responsibility for the activities of all project participants, all project tasks and all deliverables.
* Be the main focal point for liaison with other departments, projects and initiatives within the organisation, taking into account the needs and contributions of others.
* Be the main contact for aspects requiring co-operation and co-ordination with external parties such as agencies, regulatory bodies, and other third parties - making sure everything is in place to guarantee success.
* To build and manage effective relationships with stakeholders and agencies where they are engaged in the planning and development of projects. Ensuring that timelines are met, and allocation of resource is effective.
* To agree costs and ensure they are within budget. To manage these costs, reallocate monies if required, and ensure we do not overspend.
* To troubleshoot and test new and existing digital platforms. Taking into account our internal systems and bespoke content management systems - to ensure they are working as they should and meet our desired objectives and deliverables.
* To analyse and measure the outcome of improvements, new digital projects and campaigns using Google Analytics Datastudio, Moz and any other measuring tools. To recommend actions based on trends, activity and devices.
* To produce monthly management reports and updates for the Digital Project Manager and Senior Management
* To manage risk and ensure the brand is protected and there is no threat to the brand. E.g. abiding by legislation such as Trading Standards.
* Effectively support other team members during busy periods.

Other duties:

* The ability to investigate system errors or bugs, whilst working with our agencies and IT department to correct them.
* Undertake other duties and tasks that from time to time may be allocated to the jobholder that are appropriate to the grade of the job.

Main job requirements and person specification:-

The successful candidate will posses the following Education/Qualifications/Training:

* Degree or vocational qualifications are highly desirable in digital operations
* Project Management qualification
* Google analytics qualification

You will also have the following abilities/skills/knowledge:

Essential:

* Extensive experience in digital project management, including managing timelines.
* Extensive experience working with digital agencies and an IT department.
* Experience in updating web and mobile content using Content Management Systems
* A multi-tasker with the ability to juggle many projects
* Have a knowledge of website builds / apps including creative and how they work
* Have a wide range of skills across all platforms, to include, websites, booking sites, e-commerce, apps and more
* Have the ability to hit the ground running – lead and manage on digital projects whether big or small.
* Possess a proactive approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to changing circumstances and demands, whilst meeting deadlines
* Ability to recommend and develop content enhancements across all platforms
* The ability to understand the impact of changes across all digital platforms and systems
* Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and external agencies
* The ability to investigate website/system errors and identify a solution
* The ability to stress test new systems and make recommended changes
* Have close attention to detail
* Analytical and a problem solver
* An interest in the latest digital trends
* Experience in Google Analytics, Datastudio and Moz
* Be IT literate and have knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired:

* Direct selling background
* Prince/Agile qualification
* Experience in SEO, PPC and display advertising
* Good copywriting and proofing skills
